Our 3 Step Mold Removal Process
1. Mold Testing or Mold Inspection
If mold is visible, there is no need for mold testing to be done, however if you suspect you have mold but aren’t sure, mold testing is our first step. Visible mold is different. With that our first step will be to have a trained mold remediation specialist conduct a mold inspection that will tell you if it is safe or not to stay in the property and provide you a detailed plan of what needs to be done to take care of the problem. It’s free for the inspection.
2. Mold Removal & Mold Remediation
A decontamination chamber is setup in the affected area to make sure that the mold doesn’t spread into other rooms in the property and all the mold is removed. Contaminated porous materials are bagged and disposed of. Non-porous materials are taken to our decontamination center to be cleaned and decontaminated.
3. Drying
We recommend a drying program that will immediately stop all further mold growth. Since moisture is required for the spores to germinate and create mold, any water damage or rise in humidity can be very dangerous, mold can begin to germinate within 48 hours. Our specialty drying equipment will lower the humidity to stop future mold growth. Mold spores cannot be seen by the naked eye because they are too small but they are always present in all properties. They settle on surfaces and move through the air. Usually they can be removed by regular cleaning although when they land on a damp surface they will begin to multiply and grow, this will cause a mold issue.
